Luz Robles Escamilla is the Minority Leader of the Utah State Senate, representing District 10 since 2009. Born and raised in Mexico as the daughter of two college professors, she immigrated to the United States in 1996 to pursue the American Dream. She is the first Latina elected to the Utah State Senate and the first immigrant elected to the Utah State Legislature.
