Gloria Vindas is a Republican candidate for Utah House District 38 and a longtime community director for grassroots organizations throughout Utah. A parent advocate who relocated from California to Utah with her husband Oscar and their son, she has dedicated her career to educating citizens on how to become involved in the legislative process. With 22 years of experience in property management and human resources, Vindas serves on the Utah Republican Party State Central Committee and previously ran for West Jordan City Council District 4 in 2023.

Family & Heritage

Costa Rican heritage (Vindas is a distinctly Costa Rican surname, with over 10,500 bearers in Costa Rica). Married to Oscar Vindas. The family relocated from California to Utah, where they homeschooled their son starting in seventh grade before enrolling him in Utah schools. Education curriculum was one of the main reasons they chose to move to Utah.
