Ryan Ayala is a 25-year-old attorney and first-time candidate challenging incumbent Liz Campos in the Democratic primary for Texas House District 119. A native of San Antonio's Southeast Side, he graduated from East Central High School in 2018, earned his bachelor's degree in history and government from UT Austin in 2022, and obtained his law degree from St. Mary's University School of Law in May 2025. He passed the Texas bar exam in October 2025 and works as a family law attorney at Cordell & Cordell.
