Scott Perry is a Republican U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania's 10th Congressional District, serving since 2013. A retired Army National Guard brigadier general who served for 40 years, Perry is the grandson of Colombian immigrants and was raised by a single mother in Central Pennsylvania. He is a former chairman of the House Freedom Caucus.

Grandson of Colombian immigrants. His grandmother legally emigrated from Colombia. Raised by a single mother who fled abuse and worked multiple jobs, eventually settling in Harrisburg, PA.
