Danilo Burgos is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 197th district, serving since 2019. Born in New York City to immigrant parents from the Dominican Republic, his family moved to Philadelphia when he was 10 and operated a grocery store. He is the first Dominican-American elected to the Pennsylvania General Assembly.
