Art De La Cruz is a New Mexico State Representative for District 12, serving since 2022. A South Valley native born and raised in the same home he now lives in, he earned a master's degree from UNM. He previously served as a Bernalillo County Commissioner and chair of the county commission.

Nuevomexicano, born and raised in Albuquerque's South Valley. Grew up in the same home he still lives in today. Hispanic heritage tied to NM's historic South Valley community.
