Vladimir Rivera Lopez serves as Justice of the Peace for Washington County District 4, representing one of the most diverse districts in Arkansas. He made history in 2024 as the first Gen Z Justice of the Peace in Washington County, winning by just 11 votes (50.25% to 49.75%). The 24-year-old economist and workers' rights advocate became interested in labor issues after reading "Life and Death of the American Worker" by Alice Driver, which documents immigrant workers' struggles at Tyson Foods in Springdale. He is a vocal advocate for immigrant dignity amid rising ICE activity in Northwest Arkansas.
