Arizona native and first-generation Mexican American whose parents immigrated from Mexico. DSW from USC, MSW from ASU West campus. Manages social programs (mental health, crisis intervention, foster care) at Agua Fria Union High School District. President of Tolleson Union High School District governing board. Appointed to AZ House in February 2024 to replace Leezah Sun.

Licensed master social worker. Joined the Agua Fria Union High School District in July 2016 managing social programs including mental health, crisis intervention, foster care, and homelessness services. Spent most of her professional career working with nonprofits and public education.
